After supporting some of Brisbane’s favourite Up-and-Coming Indie Artists over the past 18 months, Sophia Scott is at last venturing out to play her debut headline show in celebration of her latest single, DAMN FOOL. Accompanied by her funky, versatile and honed band, Sophia will be playing an intimate show at Ashgrove’s hideaway nook, The Junk Bar on Saturday Afternoon 27th May. 

With her upcoming single ‘Damn Fool’ set to release May 19th, Sophia’s raw lyrics, combined with a particularly enigmatic poignancy, dreamily veer between the optimism of supressed longing and stark sting of self-recrimination. Whilst this new track, dappled with light and shade, encompasses Sophia’s uniquely blended genre, ‘Damn Fool’ catapults her sound to a new height.

Joined by Emily Rink , Sophia’s Damn Fool Single Launch is expected to bring the house downn.
