The Mason Boys

The Mason Boys (TMB) play a unique brand of Southern Cross Country with a blend of Australian stories and that modern Nashville sound. With experiences drawn from being a forth generation farmer; having lived through fire, flood and drought; to not knowing where your next dollar will come from, The Mason Boys have songs that relate to the Australian way of life.

TMB aren’t your usual country band. They will shake the foundations with pure energy and the excitement of modern Country/Rock. Add some tender and heartfelt country ballads, and well known country/rock covers, and you have the outfit for all occasions.

TMB are an independent Country/Rock band from the outskirts of Melbourne with many years of experience on the road and in the studio. The band has developed a unique sound with a dynamic front man, punchy guitar tones supporting their multi-harmony vocal delivery, and a tight groove generated from the engine room.

But it is live shows where TMB excels. TMB are hardened live performers and guarantee to put on an experience not to forget. Event organisers regularly ask TMB back for further shows.

Highlights

Highlights for the band include playing at: the Deni Ute Muster (2017 & 2019); Country by the Bay festival (2023); Elmore BnS; Tamworth Country Music festival; and supporting artists such as: Travis Collins and Shannon Noll.

Recognition

At the 2020 Tamworth Country Music festival, the band was voted the Most Popular Independent Band from the Independent Country Music Association. This is a result of years of attending the festival; starting off busking in Peel St, and playing on the Main stage in the busking finals; to playing at some of the best venues in town, and the FanZone stage.
