Kodiak Empire

Progressive rock group KODIAK EMPIRE will be performing a hometown show to celebrate the vinyl release of their debut record ‘The Great Acceleration’. 

Fresh from supporting COG around the country, the band will be playing a mix of tracks from TGA and a preview of some yet to heard repertoire. This will be the last chance to catch the group as they hit the studio to finish off a new record in the back half of 2024.   

Kodiak Empire have carved their name in the progressive rock/experimental cannon through their unique approach to the genre. Through a distinctly Australian lens the quintet explores irregular structure and long form groove juxtaposed against melancholic vocals and minimalist soundscapes. 

Having shared stages with acts as diverse as Katatonia, HAKEN, The Contortionist & sleepmakeswaves, the band are themselves a captivating headline act with a propulsive live show.
